Daytime running lamps in the vehicle.

Daytime running lampsSince 2011 the majority of European cars are already leaving the production line equipped with Day Riding Lights (DRL). This is dictated by the fact that in most European countries there are registered items in the rules of the road, indicating the need to move with turned on light devices in the daytime. The decision is due in order to make the car clearly visible on the road, especially in conditions of poor visibility.

However, a general requirement to turn on lighting devices due to the fact that the notion of a lack of visibility can be interpreted in different ways, and even in good weather, the lighting car can be seen better. This practice already exists for many years in Northern Europe, and has proven its effectiveness – despite the more complex traffic accident conditions in these countries is relatively low, particularly stands out the low number of accidents due to poor visibility of the vehicle.
